People's Daily Zhongsheng: China's determination to safeguard its own development interests will not change

The article by Zhongsheng in the People's Daily points out that the healthy development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations requires both sides to move towards each other. The Chinese people advocate "harmony is precious" and "trust and mutual respect," but "harmony" is by no means an unconditional concession, and "trust" is not an indulgence of betrayal.
