Popular Chinese concept stocks Nio initially rose by 2.1%, Alibaba rose by 1%, Pinduoduo, YUM China, NetEase, Baidu, Li Auto, and Tencent ADR rose by up to about 0.9%, while XPeng, Bilibili, Xiaomi ADR, and New Oriental fell by up to 0.7%, and Pony.ai fell by 7.2%.
