According to ENN Group, on April 16, the "Xuanlong-50U" spherical torus hydrogen-boron fusion device achieved a significant breakthrough: it realized high-temperature, high-density one million ampere (megaamp) plasma current. This is the first time in the world that one million ampere hydrogen-boron plasma discharge has been achieved, marking a leap in the spherical torus hydrogen-boron fusion research led by ENN into the high-parameter operating range.
