The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index initially closed down 0.4%.
Popular Chinese concept stocks XPeng initially closed down over 5.9%, Pony.ai fell over 3%, JD.com, Li Auto, Alibaba, NetEase, Bilibili, and YUM China fell over 1%, while NIO rose 0.5%, and New Oriental rose 3.8%.
Chinese concept ETFs YINN and DRAG fell over 1%, CQQQ fell over 0.9%, and KWEB fell over 0.6%
