On March 31 at 21:46 Eastern Time, Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) successfully launched the Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, sending a private crewed space mission named "Fram2" into polar orbit around the Earth. This marks the first time in human history that a crewed spacecraft has flown around the Earth's poles.
