JD.com-SW announced its 2024 performance, with fourth-quarter revenue of CNY 346.986 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.37%; operating profit of CNY 8.491 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.19 times; and net profit of CNY 9.854 billion, a year-on-year increase of approximately 1.91 times. The total revenue for the year was CNY 1,158.819 billion, with a net profit of CNY 41.359 billion, a year-on-year increase of 71.14%. JD Retail and health services continue to upgrade, launching multiple membership services and rapid testing products to drive business growth
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, JD Group-SW (09618) announced its fourth-quarter results for 2024, with revenue of RMB 346.986 billion, an increase of 13.37% year-on-year. Operating profit was RMB 8.491 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.19 times; net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of the company was RMB 9.854 billion, a year-on-year increase of approximately 1.91 times; basic earnings per share were RMB 3.39.
For the full year of 2024, revenue was RMB 1,158.819 billion, an increase of 6.8% compared to the full year of 2023. Operating profit was RMB 38.736 billion, a year-on-year increase of 48.84%; net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of the company was RMB 41.359 billion, a year-on-year increase of 71.14%; basic earnings per share were RMB 13.83, with a cash dividend of USD 0.5 per share.
In terms of JD Retail, in January 2025, JD announced a comprehensive upgrade of its PLUS membership: launching the "Life Service Package," where PLUS members can use points to redeem seven major services for free, including housekeeping, laundry, car washing, and express delivery; a new "180-day exchange only" policy was added, allowing PLUS members to directly exchange faulty home appliances and 3C digital products purchased from JD within 180 days; in addition, the scope of the "unlimited free shipping" service has also been further expanded to include self-operated express delivery services.
In the fourth quarter of 2024, JD Health continued to promote service experience upgrades and further expanded the coverage of its "Home Quick Testing" service, safeguarding the health of more people during the peak period of respiratory diseases. By the end of the fourth quarter, JD's home quick testing had launched 149 types of rapid testing products, covering 12 core cities nationwide, with a total coverage population of over 150 million.
During the 2024 JD 11.11 period, JD Logistics celebrated the first anniversary of its upgraded express delivery services in Hong Kong and Macau, offering differentiated services such as door-to-door delivery, nighttime collection and delivery, and same-city express delivery, driving rapid growth in express delivery volumes in Hong Kong and Macau. In the fourth quarter of 2024, JD Logistics further clarified its overseas strategic roadmap, advancing the construction of global warehousing networks, air networks, and international express delivery capabilities, providing global inventory services for overseas customers, Chinese outbound brands, and cross-border merchants, aiming to achieve excellence in worry-free and efficient global supply chain logistics services.
