
U.S. stock market opens: Chinese concept index rises 3.4%, Alibaba rises 11%, China Yuchai rises about 44%, the three major U.S. stock indices open lower
Chinese concept stocks Alibaba rose 11%, GDS Holdings rose 18.3%, Century Internet rose 16.8%, China Yuchai rose 43.7%, Bilibili rose about 16.58%, Kingsoft Cloud rose over 10%, JD.com rose 5.9%, and the Chinese concept ETF YINN rose 5.5%.
Palantir fell 7.4%, Walmart fell 5.6%, marking the worst intraday performance since November 2023, Amazon and C3.ai fell over 1%, NXP Semiconductors rose over 3%, and NVIDIA rose 0.7%.
The S&P 500 index opened down 9.65 points, a decrease of 0.16%, at 6134.50 points;
The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened down 66.48 points, a decrease of 0.15%, at 44561.11 points;
The Nasdaq Composite opened down 27.07 points, a decrease of 0.13%, at 20029.19 points
