
U.S. stock market opens: Nasdaq up 0.3%, semiconductor index up 1%
"After the long weekend," the S&P 500 index opened up 6.97 points, an increase of 0.11%, at 6121.60 points;
The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened up 37.83 points, an increase of 0.08%, at 44583.91 points;
The Nasdaq Composite opened up 63.78 points, an increase of 0.32%, at 20090.55 points.
NVIDIA rose 1.9%, TSMC ADR rose 0.5%, Intel rose about 4%, AppLovin and Palantir rose over 1%, while SoundHound and Serve Robotics fell by at least 2%.
Chinese concept stocks: Baidu fell 5.9%, Alibaba rose 2.5%, WeRide rose over 36%, XPeng rose over 4%, Pinduoduo and Li Auto rose about 1.9%, and the Chinese concept ETF YINN rose 3.9%
