At the meeting of the Shenzhen Qianhai Hong Kong Financial Cooperation Committee held on February 13, Hong Kong Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui stated that in order to support mainland enterprises, including those in the Greater Bay Area, that need to expand overseas business and raise funds in Hong Kong, Hong Kong has optimized the listing approval process. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange are conducting comprehensive research on optimizing listing requirements, market structure, and enhancing corporate governance, and will propose optimization recommendations within the year to further assist mainland enterprises, including those in Shenzhen, in raising funds.
