12 月 20 日，在華爾街見聞和中歐國際工商學院聯合主辦的「Alpha 峯會」上，亞德尼研究公司總裁 Ed Yardeni 表示，美國會經歷所謂的滾動衰退，但不會有全面的經濟衰退，潛在的經濟衰退源已經過去了。而如果美聯儲堅持降息，可能只會增加融漲的可能性，進而導致一些通脹回升。Yardeni 表示，通過觀察經濟可以發現，在利率為 4.75% 到 5% 的情況下，經濟表現良好，保持增長的同時，失業率大約是 4%，通貨脹下降到 2%，所以在他看來美國也許已經到了所謂的中性利率。
