週五（6 月 28 日）發佈美國 PCE 通脹數據之後，標普 500 指數微幅高開，22:15 漲至日高 5523.64 點，隨後震盪下行並轉跌，03:34（距離美股收盤不到 30 分鐘）跌至日低 5451.12 點，最終收於日低附近。 標普 500 指數的 11 個板塊多數收跌，電信板塊收跌 1.63%，可選消費板塊跌 1.36%，信息技術/科技板塊跌 0.43%，金融板塊則漲 0.38%，能源板塊漲 0.42%，房地產板塊漲 0.62%。
